HyperText Markup Language, or known as HTML is the standard markup language used in creating webpages and accessible by a web browser. As it writes the elements of a web page, it simply tells the browser how a website would look likes in the front end.
The Invention of HTML
HTML is invented by the inventor of the World Wide Web, Tim Berners-Lee in 1993. Since then, it becomes the standard file type used to display text, images, and other formats to share documents on the internet.
Today, HTML5 is the latest version of the HTML language. It is designed to be simple yet lightweight and as a result, web pages will achieve the purpose but load faster and use litter hardware resources.
